Rare variants in glaucoma: a whole-genome sequencing study

Description

Twins with whole genome sequencing as part of the Wellcome Trust-Sanger 10,000 Genome Project will be analyzed with respect to quantitative phenotypes associated with glaucoma, namely intraocular pressure, optic disc size and cupping, and central corneal thickness. We hope to identify rare variants with larger effect size than the few common variants of small effect size so far discovered.
