Human Microbiome

The human microbiome consists of thousands of bacteria, which form microbial communities across different body habitats and whose composition has been linked to human health. We aim to characterise the gut microbiome of twins, using sequencing of 16s rDNA and entire metagenomes, to understand the role of the microbiome in human health and disease.
